PHILOSOPHY

In the centre of Cannes, a studio has become a two-room apartment. The transformation rests on restraint. Every centimetre works. Every element earns its place.

Dark tones carry the project. In Japan, shadow has long been treated as a material of its own: beauty lives in the gradation between light and darkness, and surfaces reveal their depth when the room around them grows quiet and dim.

Dark fluted panels, deep stone and smoked glass give this apartment that same weight. Against them, colour behaves differently. A cobalt vase glows. A fuchsia hallway hums. Blue armchair holds the eye. Eclectic notes, each given one dark stage.

The rhythm stays strict. Dark base, one bold accent per room, natural light wherever it can enter. White curved walls open the living room. The bathroom retreats into near-black. The bedroom closes behind a wall of green glass. A sculptural light gathers the ceiling like a quiet crown.

A small home asks for precision in details: everything considered, every junction is exact.

Apartement K holds its contrasts in calm and lets each hour keep its own light.
