PHILOSOPHY
A private residence designed inside and out as a single gesture. Walls, light and materials continue from one room to the next, so the house reads as one uninterrupted breath: quiet and warm.
Light is the first material of this house. It arrives low in the morning and settles slowly through the day. Recessed coves let the ceiling glow rather than shine, and layered sheers filter the daylight into something gentle and diffuse. Every opening is composed like a frame: it looks at the landscape and lets it in, on the house's own rhythm.
Wood, stone, mineral texture, natural textile. Fluted panels run along the walls like a quiet rhythm. Stone and terrazzo give the bathrooms their weight. Every surface is chosen to age gracefully.
Rest is designed with the same care as reception. Bedrooms stay low and soft: upholstered headboards, warm wood underfoot, light held at the edges.
The bathrooms become small rituals: a freestanding tub in a morning light, a dark stone room that glows like evening.
